Started the YouTube Controversy?
The video giant website has a long-standing policy against certain videos that violate YouTube terms and conditions. The controversy started out of the confusion of most members particularly regarding regulations to disable ads on videos. This previously resulted to more complaints from advertisers. The site also has the authority to disable videos that contain bad language, drug use, sexually suggestive and violent contents.
In the previous years, YouTube practices hiding demonetization notifications to video owners through directing them to the video analytics dashboard. This practice means that some video creators are not even aware that such notifications exist. Most of them never saw the notification. However, the tides changed when YouTube began sending notifications via emails, alerting video owners directly on their video pages.
